The ceremony took place on the beach, and as this was a hot Feburary day, we used our wooden Gazebo with crisp white draping to compliment the blue hues of the atlantic ocean.

Febuary is such a great time of year for King Protea’s so this was used as the main flower and complimented with a collection of seasonal flowers, and matching Million Star head garlands for Jessica and her flower girl.

Craig is a super cool sufer and Lou is a super creative artiste and they currently live in Portugal, so it was a big challenge to co-ordinate everyting for thier big day, but had the guidence of Louisa’s cousin Cynthia who owns Celebration Cafe to help pull everything together.

The ceremony took place at Mofam’s stone maze, and as this is on the hill and exposed to the elements, we used our rustic wooden shading with soft white draping to shelter the guests.

Lou is a very natural beauty, so wanted to use Protea’s, and fynbos for her flowers. At the reception each guest was given a succulent as a token of thanks for attending the wedding, and for the tables we used our glass domes for the gorgeous king proteas. The LOVE n LIGHTS sign was a big hit and I managed to sneak into a few shots too! We send lots of love to Mr & Mrs Kingma and were sooooo soooo lucky to be a part of thier big day. Images:

We LOVE the pinks and turquoise mixed with our vintage lace, birdcages and dainty antique tea cups. For the flowers we went with soft cream and pink’s mixed with touches of bright cerise to make the arrangeemnents pop! We had such fun working with Bessieka to create this look. Here are a few images we took of Cathy & Gary’s wedding last weekend at the 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa.

The venue it’s self is truely magical set amoungst the 12 Apostle mountain range with breathtaking views across the picturesque coastline.

For Cathy’s wedding, we wanted to compliment the surroundings for both the outdoor ceremony and marquee reception.

For the ceremony we covered the ornate metal gazebo with soft cream lace draping adorned with pearls and crystals and hanging glass tear drop vases, linen and lace giant bow chair tie back with babies breath bunches, paper umbrella’s and bow peep hooks with loose floral bunches.

For the reception we used our blush pink lace tie backs for all the chairs, cream damask table cloths with sage green napkins with lace slips, silver and glass underplates and crystal candle holders. The flowers were elegantly displayed in a range of silver and glassware with touches of lace and crystals in each arrangement.

So happy summer has arrived

Nat & Kim are from the UK and wanted to create a fun wedding for all there guests to enjoy. It was a small wedding of 35 guests situated in the restaurant at Whale View Manor guest house.

For the tables we used bright summer fresh flowers of a rainbow of colours in our vintage china teacups and bowls and antique bottles, tins and books were placed around the room along the shelves, and cake table. We also used our linen runner and floral napkins for a fun country feel!

The feedback from the venue as amazing “Thank you once again for your beautiful décor, my bride was delighted!!”

We loved this intimate wedding at the 12 Apostles Hotel. Allison’s main colour scheme was deep reds and creams, with a hint of green. As it was a day wedding, we created a stylish “High Tea” theme using our vintage crokery and cream lace overlays, pearls cascading over daity teacups and stunning deep red roses mixed with fresh garden herbs and touches of babies breath.
